Mipony attaches to Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Internet Explorer as a browser add-on, browser helper object, and extension without direct user consent.
The Mipony program may do this in order to serve targeted advertisements, and it could also create additional privacy relating issues for computer users.
Once the Mipony malware is installed, the Adware Program will start to collect user information and will display target advertisements, deals, and offers for searched items or currently viewed websites and products on retail websites.
Mipony advertisements are displayed in a variety of forms, some are pop-under browser redirects that take up an entire browser window or computer screen, in-text ads that say “Ads by Mipony” on them, or pop-up advertisements that appear in images and say “Brought by Mipony” on them.
This Program may also affect internet browser settings; causing unwanted browser redirects, new tab pages, and homepages.
Users are sometimes given the opportunity to accept or decline an offer to install Mipony software and other items; However, the request to decline the offer is often ignored or presented in a very confusing manner.
Mipony is also on Android but it is unknown if it is also Malware.
